Hello out there to all who show an interest in beads!

We, too, are like you - loving beautiful things and loving to have a share in creating more beautiful things with such wonderful variety. This business of ours started back in 1992 manufacturing a childrens' line of jewelry for specialty shops. So, with a fairy tale theme in mind, the name 'Beauty and the Beads' was born. It wasn't too long after that we discovered many other businesses across the United States with the same name. Oh well, we kept it anyway! And from then on the 'beadstalk' grew, and grew.

Our first store offering beads and supplies was opened in 1997 in Wakefield, Massachusetts. We were determined to offer our customers something more than lobster claws and crimp. We were now suppling upwards of 25 retail jewelry stores, gift shops and museums with fine womens jewelry. Our goal was for our customers to have access to the same "hard-to-get" materials and findings that we ourselves had worked hard to obtain. We didn't have the Internet back then, so believe me it was difficult!

We feel certain that we reached our goal because the...''beadstalk" just kept on growing. Located now in beautiful Winchester, MA, we continue to work hard at keeping that same enthusiasm. We listen to our customers needs, stay well supplied, keep on top of the latest trends....and most importantly, we're friendly!
